I’m so excited to share with you a reading from one of my favourite books. When I first discovered this, I immediately went online to see if this author was hosting retreats or events are where it could learn more from her own need to figure out I was many, many decades too late to uncovering the incredible works of Florence Shinn. Now if you haven’t heard of Florence Shinn before, she’s an incredible teacher. And what I love even more as that, yes, she’s also a woman, especially within a space that immune, especially historically has been very male dominated.

There aren’t as many female teachers I certainly that I’ve come across. So it was really refreshing to find this teacher, this author Florence Shinn, an incredibly wise woman, whose work was amazingly impactful. And the reason I wanted to share this with you is because floorings really gives another approach to what I think many of you here listening already know about, which is like affirmations, right, using your words as your wand. So literally tuning into the fact that your words have magic and have power. Now, the challenge is, is that affirmations is something if you Google, like manifestation one on one, it’s going to come up, as you know, top 10 things to do is use affirmations, which, you know, a, there’s a reason for that.

But also, it’s very easy then, to almost bypass it, and think, Yeah, but I’m looking for the real thing that works, and forget the true power that our words have. So I wanted to read something, especially around money and prosperity and abundance, given the nature of what we talk about on this show. So I’m going to share this short excerpt from Florence shin. Now this is the complete works of French in this book, and I’m reading from what specifically this book that has chapters in it was called the game of life, and how to play it, which I think is a really cool title. So enjoy the law of prosperity. Yeah, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shall have plenty of silver. Sounds good. One of the greatest messages given to the race through the scriptures is that God is man’s supply. And that man can release through his spoken word, word, all that belongs to him by divine right. He must, however, have perfect faith in his spoken word. Isaiah I said, My Word shall not return unto me void, but shall accomplish that were in to it i it is sent. We know now that words and thoughts are a tremendous, Vibratory Force ever moulding men’s bodies and affairs.

A woman came to me in great distress and said she was to be sued on the 15th of the month for $3,000. She knew no way of getting the money and was in great despair. I told her God was her supply and then there is a supply for every demand. So I spoke the word I gave thanks that the woman would receive $3,000 at the right time in the right way. I told her she must have perfect faith and act her perfect faith. The 15th came but no money had materialised. She called me on the phone and asked what she was to do. I applied it a Saturday so they won’t see you today. Your part is to act rich, thereby showing perfect faith that you will receive it by Monday. She asked me to lunch with her to keep up her courage. When I joined her at a restaurant I said there is no time to economise. Order an expensive Lunch Act as if you already have received the $3,000 all things what’s so every ask in prayer, believing ye shall receive. You must, you must act as if you had already received. The next morning she called me on the phone and asked me to stay with her during the day he said, No, you are divinely protected, and God is never too late. In the evening, she phoned again, greatly excited and said, My dear, a miracle has happened. I was sitting in my room this morning when the doorbell rang. I said to the maid, don’t let anyone in the meantime ever looked out the window and said, It’s your cousin with a long white beard. So I said, call him back. I would like to see him.

He was just turning the corner when he heard the mates voice. And he came back. He talked for about an hour. And just as he was leaving, he said, Oh, by the way, how our finances. I told him, I needed the money. And he said, Why am I doing now? We’ll give you $3,000 The first of the month. I didn’t like to tell him I was going to be sued. What should I do? I won’t receive it till the first of the month, and I must have a tomorrow. I said, I keep on treating. I said spirit is never too late. I give thanks that she has received the money on the invisible plane, and that it is manifests on time. The next morning, her cousin called her up and said, Come to my office this morning, and I will give you the money. But our afternoon she had $3,000 to her credit in the bank, and wrote checks as rapidly as her excitement would permit. If one asks for success and prepares for failure, he will get the situation he has prepared for him. For example, a man came to me asking to speak the word that a certain debt would be wiped out. I found he spent his time planning what he would say to the man when he did not pay his bill, thereby neutralising my words, he should never have seen himself paying the debt. We have a wonderful illustration of this in the Bible, relating to the three kings who were in the desert without water for their men and horses.

They consulted a prophet like Elijah, who gave them this astonishing message that set the Lord You shall not see when neither shall you say rain, yet make this valley full of ditches. Man must prepare for the thing he has asked for when there isn’t the slightest sign of it in sight. So that one is probably worth repeating. Men woman must prepare for the thing he or she has asked for when there isn’t the slightest sign of it insight. For example, it goes a woman find it necessary to look for an apartment during the year when there was great shortage of apartments in New York. It was considered almost an impossibility. And our friends recited for her and said, Isn’t a too bad. You’ll

have to store your furniture and live in a hotel. She replied, You needn’t feel sorry for me. I’m a Superman, and I’ll get an appointment. She spoke the words, Infinite Spirit, open the way for the right appointment. She knew there was a supply for every demand, and that she was unconditioned, working on the spiritual plane, and that one with God is the majority. She had contemplated contemplated by new blankets when the tempting the adverse thought or reasoning mine suggested don’t buy the blankets. Perhaps after all, you won’t get an appointment, and you will have no use for them. She promptly replied to herself. I’ll dig my my ditches by buying the blankets. So she prepared for the park apartment and acted as though she had already had it. She found one in a miraculous way, and it was given to her although there were over 200 other applicants, the blankets showed active faith. It is needless to say that the ditches dug by the three kings in the desert were filled to overflowing. Getting in the spiritual swing of things is no easy matter for the average person.

The adverse thoughts of doubt and fear search from the subconscious. They are the army of the aliens, which must be put to flight. That’s explains why it is often darkest before the dawn. A big demonstration is usually is usually preceded by tormenting thoughts, having made a statement of high spiritual truth. One challenge is the old beliefs in the subconscious and error is exposed to be put out. This is a time when one must make his or her affirmations of truth repeatedly and rejoice and give things that she has already received.

Before you call I shall answer.

This means that every good and perfect gift is already yours awaiting your recognition. Men for the purposes of neutralising the term but men can only receive what he is sees himself receiving. So you can only receive what you see yourself receiving. The children of Israel were told that they could have all the land that they could see. And this is true of every man. He has only the land within his own mental vision, every great work, every big accomplishment has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision. And often just before the big achievement comes apparent failure and discouragement. The children of Israel when they reached the promised land were afraid to go in. So they said it was filled with giants who made them feel like grasshoppers. And there we saw the Giants and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers.

This is almost every man’s experience. However, the one who knows spiritual law is undisturbed by appearance, and rejoices what he is yet in captivity. That is, he holds to his vision and gifts, things that the end is accomplished, he has received. Jesus Christ gave a wonderful example of this, he said to his disciples, say not you, there are your four months and then come with the harvest will hold us down to you lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are ripe already to harvest. His clear vision pierced the world of matter. And he saw clearly the fourth dimensional world things as they really are perfect and complete in divine mind. So man must ever hold the vision of his journeys and and demand the manifestation of that which He has already received. It may be his perfect health, love, supply, self expression, home or friends.

They are all finished and perfect ideas registered in the divine mind. man’s own super conscious mind and must come through Him, not to him. For example, a man came to me asking for treatments for success. It was imperative that he raised within a certain time $50,000 for his business. The time limit was almost off when he came to me in despair. No one wanted to invest in his enterprise. And the bank had flatly refused a loan. I replied, I suppose you lost your temper when at the bank there for your power. You can control any situation if you first control yourself. Go back to the bank. I added and I will treat. My treatment was this. You are identified in love with the spirit of every one connected with the bank. Let the divine idea come out of the situation.

He replied, woman you were talking about an impossibility. Tomorrow is Saturday, the bank closes at 12am My train won’t get me there until 10. And the time limit is up tomorrow. And anyway. They won’t do it. It’s too late. I replied, God doesn’t need any time. And it is never too late. With Him all things are possible. I added I don’t know anything about business. But I know a lot about God. He replied, It all sounds fine when I sit here listening to you. But when I go out it’s terrible. He lived in a in a distant city and I did not hear from him for a week. Then came a letter it read. You were right. I raised the money. And I will never ever again dad the truth of all that you told me. I saw him a few weeks later and asked what had happened. You evidently have plenty of time I’ve drawn. He replied, My train was late. And I got there just 15 minutes to 12. I walked into the bank quietly and said, I’ve come for the loan. And they gave it to me without question. It was the last 15 minutes of the time allotted to him, and Infinite Spirit was not too late. In this instance, the man could never have demonstrated alone. He needed someone to help him Hold the vision.

This is what one man can do for another. Jesus Christ knew this truth when he said, if two of you should agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. When it gets too close to his own affairs and becomes doubtful and fearful, their friend or heater sees clearly the success, the health, the prosperity and never wavers because he is not too close to the situation. It is much easier to demonstrate for someone else than for oneself. So a person should not hesitate to ask for help. If he feels himself wavering. And a keen observer of life. One said, No man can fail. If someone person sees him successful, such as the power of division, and money, a great man has owed his success to a wife, a sister or friend, who believed in him, and held without reverting to the perfect pattern. So that is the end of that chapter, there’s so much more, but this was a key chapter I wanted to share with you.

So there’s a couple of key things I want to highlight here for those of you listening, which is this acting of full faith. So saying affirmations and saying these words only work when we actually believe them to be true. So if you act, if you say the words of, I’m so grateful to be receiving this inflow of money, but you’re preparing for data you’re putting in place and precautions or action steps to prepare for it’s not not coming, then as Florence Shin is mentioning, you really are counteracting the power of the words, and you will receive what you prepare for it. So bring that into your own life into your own business. And think about what are the goals that you’ve set for yourself? You know, what is it that you’re intending that you’re visualising that you want to manifest?

And then ask yourself, well, what am I actually preparing for? Because it is your preparation, which will tell you your truth. So if you are you’re looking to manifest something incredible in your life, whether that is money or new opportunities, or the right partner? Then look at what you’re preparing for. Are you creating space in your diary for those new opportunities to flow in? Are you getting yourself ready to meet that partner? Are you getting your finances in place? Do you know what you’re going to do when that money is received? What are the action steps you’re taking today? Because what you prepare for is what you will receive. The other key piece I wanted to highlight as well, is that so often as Florence was saying, we are so close to a mother ourselves, that even though we may be able to do it for someone else, we find it difficult to do it for ourselves. And this is where having someone who can support you. Whether that is a coach, whether that is a dear friend, family member or partner, someone who has a deep understanding of what we’re talking about around the power of your mind around manifestation about intentional creation. And someone of course, who is going to support you with the reality of that dream coming into fruition.

No, do not choose someone clearly who tells you your dreams are crazy, or who is doubtful or sceptical. Because that will just double down on perhaps your own doubt or scepticism. Find someone of course who knows the truth that your word is your wand, and that that is your power for creation. So certainly reach out and get someone to support you in that journey too. This supply is released through faith and the spoken word. If that can’t believe all things are possible. For example, I woman came to me one day to tell me of her experience in museum affirmation she had read in my book, The Game of Life and how to play it. She was without experience but desire to good position on the stage. She took the affirmation, Infinite Spirit, open the way from a great abundance. I am an irresistible magnet for all that a lamp belongs to me by divine right. She was given an important part in a successful opera. And she said it was a miracle. And due to that affirmation, which I repeated hundreds of times. Now, I love that I am an irresistible magnet for all that belongs to me by divine right. That is a very juicy affirmation. So I’m going to share some more affirmations with you here, see which ones resonate with you. Which one really like creates that emotional feeling. If that’s like, Oh, I like that one. And then take it down and use it in your life or whatever it is that you’re looking to manifest. So

I now draw from the abundance of this fear is my immediate and endless supply. All channels are free and all doors are open. I never released the goldmine within me. I am linked with an endless golden stream of prosperity which comes to me under grace in perfect ways. goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of abundance for ever. My God is a God of plenty and I now receive all that I desire or require and more. All that is mined by divine right is now released and reaches me in great avalanches of abundance under grace in miraculous ways. I love that word avalanches of abundance. My supply is endless, inexhaustible and immediate, and comes to me under grace in perfect ways. All channels are free and all doors fly open from my immediate and endless, divinely designed supply. My ships come in under grace in perfect ways. I give thanks that the millions which are mined by divine right, pour in and pile up under grace in perfect ways. Unexpected doors fly open, unexpected channels are free and endless avalanches of abundance are poured out upon me under grace in perfect ways.

I spend money under direct inspiration wisely and fearlessly.

Knowing my supply is endless and immediate. I am fearless in letting money go out knowing God is my immediate and endless supply. So as I said, choose an affirmation that works for you. If none of those resonated, awesome, find one maybe you know, take one of the ones I’ve shared and edit it to make something that truly gives you that emotional response. Like I love that word avalanches of abundance, or I am a divine magnet to which everything is attracted. I love that. And that those words are very evocative, and would really give you the sense of emotion, which is so important when it comes to affirmations. The other key thing to remember, as I’m sure you may know, but if not, this is really important, even as a reminder, is it affirmations only work with constant repetition and emotion, right. So if we just say an affirmation once a day, sitting there having a coffee, like cool and maybe make you feel good in a minute, but for them to really work, what we’re looking to do is to rewire our subconscious mind, which it’s like pulling out old weeds and planting in new seeds.

So it really does take repetition.

So if affirmations haven’t worked in the past, this could be one of the reasons and it requires emotion. So get involved with your affirmations. Like get into it, and realise that every time you express these words, you are literally creating your own reality. So that is something to get excited about.
